About

Darcy Kyffin, a.k.a. Mother Diablo, has been making photographs for almost 10 years.  She first fell in love with photography while she was a Journalism student at Indiana University at Bloomington.  Greatly inspired by photojournalists and documentary photographers such as Henri Cartier-Bresson, Robert Frank and Dorothea Lange, she began to envision herself as a photographer from that point on.  After graduating from Indiana University, she decided to continue her photography education at the New England School of Photography in Boston.  Inspired by the landscape and architecture of her new urban environment, she focused primarily on fine art photography and graduated with honors at the school.  Since then Darcy has worked as a photojournalist at the Vincennes Sun-Commercial, has exhibited work in galleries in Boston, MA, Denver, CO, and Chicago, IL and recently has been shooting music and nightlife events in the Chicago area.
